Second Look Books and Brews

Second Look Books & Brews is a used bookstore and coffee bar. We are locally owned and operated by book worms and coffee lovers. Our coffee is brewed using locally roasted beans, and our pastries are made by local bakers. Our goal is to provide a place where people can gather to enjoy good books, good coffee and good company.

Black Locust Farm

A big yarn shop in a small village. Cathy started Black Locust Farm in her home and quickly became too big and needed a true storefront. The shop started out very small – a corner in a Yoga studio- and continued to grow. With Cathy being a yarn junkie, the shop has grown quite a bit over the past 12 years. Cathy has been knitting since she was 9 years old, living in Wisconsin. She started spinning in high school. Cathy loves to teach, teaching both beginner and advanced knitters.

Black River Nature Preserve

The Black River, whose watershed encompasses 467 square miles in parts of five counties, has its headwaters in southwestern Medina County’s Harrisville Township. Medina County Park District is committed to protecting the water quality and rich habitats of one of Northeast Ohio’s great rivers, while providing visitors opportunities to explore and enjoy nature.
